What is this contest? Each week fans are invited to pick the winners in the local high school football game involving Loudoun and other area schools.
What do you win each week? Fan with the best record (we have a tiebreaker to hopefully breaks ties!) each week wins a coveted Viva Loudoun T-Shirt printed up by our friends at Cheers Sports!
What do you win at the end of the season? The top three fans at the end of the year will win cash prizes of $100, $50 and $25. And the top fan will also have $100 donated to his or her high school athletic program of choice. Bonus: Winner will also receive a free haircut and shave combo from Roosters Men’s Grooming Center of Ashburn and Leesburg.
The LoCo Expert with the best record will have $100 donated to their favorite charity.

Sept, 4, 1998 – Google is founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin , two students at Stanford University, thus making You Pick”em possible … sadly neither Page or Brin have ever won a Viva Loudoun t-shirt.
Sept. 10, 1608 – John Smith is elected council president of Jamestown … sadly, despite winning this election, he never won a Viva Loudoun t-shirt.
Sept. 18, 1793 – George Washington lays first cornerstone of Capitol building. For years, scholars have tried to decipher code etched in corner: U Pik M
Sept. 25, 1980 – Rapper and actor T.I. is born. Little known fact that his first mega hit was getting little airplay as titled “Bring The You Pick”em Out” when the “Fox” suggested he shorten it to “Bring ’em Out” and the rest was history and a whole lot of athletic introduction music was born.
Oct. 2, 1889 – In Colorado, Nicholas Creede strikes it rich in silver during the last great silver boom of the American Old West. Creede died a broken man, however, after trying for years to win a Viva Loudoun t-shirt playing under the game name: GetNCreedE
