(April 25, 2014) – The Woodgrove High School girls lacrosse team will hold a fundraiser to benefit the Boulder Crest Retreat for Military Veteran Wellness in Bluemont.
Family and friends that are either active or retired military are invited to the May 1 JV and varsity games against George Mason with 6 and 7:15 p.m. starts. All proceeds from the night will benefit Boulder Crest.
The Wolverine girls already held a car wash on April 12 that raised $720. Fairway Independent Mortgage in Ashburn also donated money and will be sponsoring both the JV and Varsity games on May 1.
On May 1 between games, Woodgrove will present Boulder Crest with a check from the funds that have been raised.
Military veterans will be introduced between the JV and Varsity game and invited to walk out onto the field along with the starters for the National Anthem.
