Ashburn, Va. (November 30, 2014) – Women in Technology will host “Sharing Our Success” from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, at AOL in Dulles.
Organized by Women In Technology’s Girls in Technology Loudoun Committee, “Sharing Our Success” is an opportunity for middle- and high-school girls in Loudoun County to meet and network with professional women who have leveraged their love for science, technology, engineering, art/design or mathematics (STEAM) by successfully pursuing a career in a STEAM-related field.
The program includes networking, STEAM demonstrations, light refreshments, prizes and dynamic women speakers who will engage students during presentations about their experiences in education, career and family life. In addition, students will be able to complete a survey to win prizes. They also are eligible to participate in the WITEF Scholarship program. Details will be provided at the event.
The schedule includes:
- 5-5:15 p.m. – Arrival
- 5:15-6:15 p.m. – Panel Discussion with professional women
- 6:15 – 6:30 – Networking Instructions, Survey Completion & Prizes
- 6:30 – 7:30 – Networking & Demonstrations
