Washington, DC (February 20, 2015) – The Virginia Xtreme 16s forced out 32 teams for a 1st place finish at the 9th Annual Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic!
The 9th annual Capitol Hill Volleyball Classic was pure girl power! This past Valentines and President’s Day weekend more than 12,000 young woman, ages 10-18 who love the sport of volleyball transformed the Walter E. Washington Convention Center into a network of 119 volleyball courts.
Playing in it’s third year together, this gold medal winning team is comprised of 7 players from Loudoun County High School, 2 from Briar Woods and 1 from Rock Ridge.
Virginia Xtreme Volleyball Club is a community based volleyball club in Northern Virginia committed to developing and promoting the sport of volleyball. Their goal is to provide unparalleled instruction that insures the building of character, development of skills and sportsmanship, while providing a fun and nurturing environment for their volleyball players to reach their maximum playing potential.
