Based on the popular and beloved novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden is a beautiful story about loss and the magical healing power of love.
Set in a lonely manor house in 1906 England, Secret Garden is the story of Archibald Craven, who yearns so much for his beautiful, late wife, that he has left his son, Colin, bedridden and isolated except for the care of household servants.
The manor house is turned upside down when young Mary Lennox, a rich, spoiled child, is sent to live with them following the death of her parents by cholera in India. While living at the manor house, Mary discovers a secret, walled garden hidden on the grounds and releases the magic and adventures locked inside, changing their lives forever.
A favorite of children and adults alike, the Tony Award winning musical tells this poignant story through hauntingly beautiful music and lyrics interpreted in such a way as to warm and heal the heart. The audience will leave the show feeling uplifted and joyful about the positive influence we can have in each life we encounter!
