Leesburg (Oct. 29, 2013) – The Tuscarora High School chapter of DECA, an association of marketing students, is seeking vendors for its annual Holiday Bazaar. The Holiday Bazaar will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, in the school’s gymnasium. The Tuscarora Bazaar, which is in its fourth year, is a fund-raiser for both DECA chapter and Juvenile Diabetes.
Vendors can pay $75 for an 8-by-10-foot space that includes a table. This bazaar is appropriate for bakers, crafters and other business owners.
The last day to submit contracts will be Friday, November 8.
Last year, the Bazaar had more than 80 vendors, including Grace Adele, Lulu’s Fabulous Finds and J&M Cupcakes.
For more information or to reserve a space, potential vendors can email the Bazaar at TuscaroraBazaar@gmail.com or visit the Tuscarora High School bazaar website at http://lcps.org/Page/101545.
Mark Armstrong and Julie Luu, the two Tuscarora seniors spearheading the effort, will use the money raised by the vendor fees to travel with their chapter to the regional DECA conference, where they will present the Holiday Bazaar project in the “Community Service” division. In addition, vendors will be asked to donate one item each to benefit Juvenile Diabetes.
