(Aug. 13, 2013) – Stone Bridge High School grad and RR4 Lacrosse founder Ricky Reyes and the Filipino Lacrosse Association will host the first ever Philippines/Israel Lacrosse Festival on Sunday, August 18 at noon at St Paul’s School (11152 Falls Road, Lutherville-Timonium, MD) near Baltimore.
Tickets for the day are available online at: https://philippineslacrosseassociation.eventbrite.com/ and all proceeds will support new youth lacrosse programs in the Philippines which are launching this Fall.
This special cultural and sporting event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. with a joint youth clinic (boys ages 8-13) featuring players and coaches of the Israeli and Filipino teams. The clinic fee is $40 and includes a game ticket and an Israel Lacrosse pinnie for each participant. Proceeds from the clinic will be shared between the two programs to help support new youth lacrosse programs in Israel and the Philippines which are launching this Fall.
Faceoff is at Noon for the international exhibition game between Israel and the Filipino-Lacrosse Association.
The game will be broadcast live on Access Lacrosse at: http://www.livestream.com/accesslac.
Following the game there will be an on-field autograph session, and a post-game BBQ/tailgate hosted by the Filipino Lacrosse Association at approximately 2:30 PM. Admission to the tailgate is $10 with all proceeds supporting new youth lacrosse programs in the Philippines which are launching this Fall.
EQUIPMENT DRIVE: Players and fans are encouraged to bring used lacrosse helmets, gloves, sticks and protective gear to donate to our burgeoning youth lacrosse programs!! Equipment donors will receive a free Israel Lacrosse pinnie!!
