Ashburn, VA (9/4/2016) – The Stone Bridge Athletic Booster Club announced on Friday night, 9/2/2016, during halftime of the Stone Bridge-T.C. Williams football game that F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical made very significant educational contribution in support of Stone Bridge High School.
“We’ve all seen the F.H. Furr football commercial featuring Floyd “Fleet-Footed” Furr in his days on the football field, but now we’ll see F.H. Furr in a new form. F.H. Furr has made a donation of $250,000 to Stone Bridge High School’s Athletic Booster Club in Loudoun County and in return for that donation, the athletic stadium will be named “F.H. Furr Field” in honor of the Northern Virginia plumbing, HVAC and electrical company for the next 10 years. The official dedication of the stadium will take place at halftime of the Varsity Football game on 9/2 against T.C. Williams.
For over 35 years, Floyd and Barbara Furr have been giving back to the communities they serve. Mr. and Mrs. Furr believe that when you care for a community, you change lives and that is JUST what they are doing. F.H. Furr is proud to partner with the Stone Bridge Athletic Booster Club to cheer on the Bulldogs! We’ll be set up at quite a few of their events with our “Mr. Furr” cutout. So stop by, snap a picture with him and share it on our Facebook page or Twitter with the hashtag #FHFurrCares! Let’s go Stone Bridge Bulldogs!”
The Stone Bridge Athletic Booster Club is honored F.H. Furr chose Stone Bridge as the school it wishes to be associated with over the next 10 years. This is such an honor is because of the excellence the student athletes at Stone Bridge have displayed in the classroom and in their sports, as well as the tireless work of the Stone Bridge coaches and athletic department.
