Leesburg, VA (February 11, 2015) – Loudoun Soccer is pleased to announce that Lucas Cook has joined our coaching staff to help oversee the expansion of our programs in the Sterling area.
Cook brings 15 years of coaching and consulting experience within Northern Virginia. He teaches
elementary school in Sterling and coaches high school soccer at Dominion High School. He grew up in
Sterling, beginning his playing and coaching career there, which will prove a valuable resource for local players and families.
“Lucas brings to the club a wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as valuable insight into the
Sterling location. With our recent expansion of several programs into the area, it made sense to bring in a wonderful individual such as Lucas”, Loudoun Soccer Technical Director Darryl Gee said on Thursday. “We are pleased to have him on board and look forward to working with him.”
Said Cook, “I am incredibly excited. I have been fortunate enough to get to know many members of the
club’s technical staff throughout my coaching career and have the utmost respect for them as both
coaches and people. I’m ecstatic about the opportunity to become a member of such a great
