Leesburg, VA (February 14, 2017) – Coming in to the game, Park View (16-6) held a significantly better overall record than the Heritage Pride (13-9). After one of their best regular seasons ever, the Patriots had rightfully earned some confidence.
On the other hand, Heritage had a better conference record which gave them the higher seed and home court advantage. The Pride had momentum, too, because they had easily beaten Park View twice in January

The first half story belonged to Park View. Their aggressive play and hustle had them leading by double digits in the second quarter with the Pride able to narrow it slightly by halftime to nine points, 29-20.
The second half, though, was a complete reversal. Heritage quickly erased and reversed the Park View lead in the third quarter alone and led 41-34 going into the final period. That was a 21-5 punch that the Patriots could never recover from.
Final score: Heritage 57 – Park View 43.
