Loudoun Sheriff’€™s Deputies responding to the second reported robbery around 1:40 a.m. received information on a suspect vehicle description. A Loudoun Sheriff’™s Deputy located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The suspects inside the vehicle exited from the car in the area of Falke Plaza and fled on foot. A perimeter was established and a canvass of the area was conducted with the assistance of multiple area jurisdictions.
One suspect was immediately apprehended, a second suspect was apprehended in the area of Shaw Road and a third suspect was apprehended by a Loudoun County Sheriff’€™s Office Canine Unit. The fourth suspect, who has been identified as a juvenile, has not been located at this time.

The first robbery occurred around 12:40 a.m. in the area of Sanderson Drive. The victim was robbed at gunpoint as he was exiting his vehicle. The suspects were described as four Black males. The suspects took the victim’s backpack, including a laptop, smartphone and wallet.
Approximately one-hour later deputies received a second call of an armed robbery in the 46000 block of Shaw Road. The two victims reported they were walking in the area when two males exited a vehicle. One of the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded their belongings. The suspects took the victim’€™s smart phones. Three of the suspects were apprehended a short time later.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’€™s Office learned that the suspects were staying at an area hotel and a consent search was conducted in their room. Possible evidence related to the case was recovered inside the room and two firearms were also recovered during the ground search.
Charged in the case are Idris Zikria-Showers, 19, of Gainesville, a 16-year-old from Manassas and a 15-year-old from Manassas. The names of the 16-year-old and 15-year-old cannot be released due to the fact they are juveniles. All three suspects are charged with three counts of robbery and two counts of use of a firearm during the commission of a felony. Zikria-Showers is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. The two juveniles are being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
An additional arrest unrelated to the robberies was made Saturday during a canvass search after the first reported robbery. A Loudoun County Sheriffâ€™s canine involved in a ground search of the area was struck by a vehicle. The canine was not seriously injured. The driver of the vehicle was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol and was arrested at the scene. The arrestee was not involved in the robbery cases.
During the perimeter search for the robbery suspects the Loudoun County Sheriffâ€™s Office was assisted by the Herndon Police Department, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police, and received aerial support from the Maryland State Police, the Fairfax Police Department and the U.S. Park Police.
