Leesburg, Va. (August 3, 2014) – The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors has directed the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services to initiate the public participation process to name a new park site.
The park is located in the Broad Run District off of Century Boulevard near the Dulles Town Center in Sterling, Va. The 7.7-acre passive park was originally dedicated to the county as part of a proffer condition.
The site, which contains a segment of the old Vestals Gap Road, will feature interpretive markers about the historic road, benches, and a permeable trail.
