Loudoun County, Va. (January 17, 2015) – “Help LCPS Build a Diverse Pool of Quality Educators” will be the subject of the Loudoun County Minority Student Achievement Advisory Board (MSAAC) meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 21.
The location of this meeting has changed. It will be held in the library at Stone Bridge High School. Stone Bridge is located at 43100 Hay Road, Ashburn.
Wednesday’s program will ask the question, “Do we have a diverse enough staff to meet our diverse and growing student body?”
Guest speakers for the evening include LCPS Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Dr. Kimberly Hough and Director of Personnel Dr. Asia Jones.
There also will be a work session, “Closing the Achievement Gap: Build a Strategic Plan for Your Student,” with LCPS Director of Research Dr. Ryan Tyler.
A special invitation to attend this meeting is extended to the Loudoun County School Board, the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC), PTA and PTSO presidents, parent liaisons, members of the Loudoun Education Alliance of Parents (LEAP), LCPS teachers, administrators and parents.
