Loudoun County, Va. (February 17, 2015) – The Loudoun County Minority Student Achievement Advisory Committee (MSAAC) will hold its next meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, at the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Administrative Offices in Ashburn.
The program for the evening will be “Equity in Education: The Influence of a Good Teacher Can Never be Erased.” There will be a Work Session II: Achievement Gaps, Tools and Strategies for Success for Your Child.
LCPS Director of Research Dr. Ryan Tyler will speak about how parents can support good teachers and how teachers can support good parents.
LCPS Director of Instructional Services Tim Flynn will explore “Teacher Efficacy: What is it? And Why is it Important?”
LCPS Assistant Superintendent for Personnel Services Dr. Kimberly Hough also will be featured.
The LCPS Administrative Offices are located at 21000 Education Court, Ashburn.
