He picked up a rebound in front of the Denver cage and scored with 19.2 seconds left to propel No. 1 seed Syracuse (16-3) to 9-8 victory against the fourth-seeded Pioneers (14-5) in the NCAA men’s lacrosse semifinals Saturday, May 25 at Lincoln Financial Field. Loudoun Valley High School grad Chris Daddio was 2 of 4 on faceoffs in the win for Syrscuse. Maltz, Daddio and the Orange will play Duke on Monday, May 27, at 1 p.m. for the national championship.
