Loudoun County, Va. (June 11, 2015) – Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman presented a check to Spencer Barrett on June 9, 2015, as part of the Virginia Sheriffs’ Institute (VSI) scholarship program.
Mr. Spencer Barrett, a Leesburg resident, will graduate from Loudoun County High School in June and will be attending Liberty University in the fall.
“This scholarship will assist Spencer in his educational endeavors and his pursuit of a career in the criminal justice field,” said Loudoun Sheriff Chapman.
The scholarship program, established by the VSI’s Board of Directors, was established to provide an opportunity for young people across Virginia to pursue an educational curriculum in law enforcement or the criminal justice field while attending a Virginia college or university.
