Ashburn, Va. (June 22, 2015) – The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors and Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services will host a ribbon cutting to mark the opening of the Round Hill Indoor Aquatic Center Tuesday, June 23, 2015.
The public is invited to the ribbon cutting, which begins at 10:00 a.m., followed by refreshments, a facility tour and swimming. Pool admission fees will be waived on June 23 and June 24, 2015. The center is located at 17010 Evening Star Drive, Round Hill, VA 20141.
The center offers opportunities for the swimming fitness enthusiast, those eager to learn to swim and anyone looking for low-impact fitness programs. The four-lane pool features accessible entrances, a zero-depth ramp, a maximum depth of 4½ ft., a maximum bather load of 54 and a consistent temperature of 81-82° F. A separate conference room can be rented for meetings and other community use.
