Loudoun County, Va. (October 5, 2014) – Loudoun County Crime Solvers and the Brambleton community home owner’s association have increased the reward seeking information as additional graffiti was discovered Wednesday in a series of vandalism cases that target the Hindu culture.
Since July 2014, there have been 16 reported cases of graffiti, some of which uses language that disparages the Hindu culture. The vandalism has occurred in the Brambleton community, including most recently in the areas of Northstar Boulevard, Morning Walk Drive, Winter Haven Drive, Ryan Road at Forest Manor Drive and Shreveport Drive.
A majority of the graffiti has been written in black marker on exercise stations, park benches, a pedestrian bridge and community signs.
The Brambleton Homeowners Association has increased their reward to $1000 and the Loudoun County Crime Solvers is offering up to a $1000 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment for those responsible for the vandalism.
