When teen idol Conrad Birdie, loosely based on Elvis Presley, comes to town to kiss one lucky girl before enlisting, Sweet Apple is thrown into torment. But the kids and parents troubles are nothing to compared to poor Albert Peterson’s, Birdie’s long-suffering press agent.
