Winchester, VA (August 13, 2016) – The Loudoun Valley golf team three-peats as the 2016 Bryan Gunter Golf Invitational Champions in record setting fashion. The Vikings set an invitational record by winning the 2-day, twelve team tournament at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club with the low team score of 590.
Viking’s Ryan Hammer repeats as the invitational’s individual champion with a day one score of 69, and followed up with an encore score of 69 on day two to claim first place honors with a low total score of 138.
Max Cave claimed third place honors with a day one score of 72 and day two score of 73 for a total score of 145. Also scoring for the Vikings were Bryce Nagaj (153) and Sam Ball (154).
