Ashburn, VA (January 27, 2015) In Conference 14, Tuscarora retains a strong hold on first place with a 4-0 Conference record and an overall record of 12-2. Tuscarora’s only losses this season were a slim 52-49 loss to Loudoun County and a 56 – 48 loss to Langley. Their points for average of 66.2 points per game is 17 points better then the next closest team. Briar Woods and Broad Run are tied for second in the conference with identical records of 2-1 and they still haven’t played each other. Briar Woods and Broad Run both lost to Tuscarora.
In Conference 21, Millbrook has maintained an undefeated conference record of 4-0 for first place with Loudoun County close behind with a record of 6-1. Overall, Millbrook is 10-5 while Loudoun County is 14-1, but their only loss was to the conference leader Millbrook. Millbrook is the leading scoring team with 63.1 ppg, while Loudoun County has the stingiest defence giving up only 37.0 ppg.
In Conference 28, both Loudoun Valley (6-0) and John Champe (4-0) are undefeated in conference play. John Champe is 10-5 on an overall basis and Loudoun Valley is 13-2. Central is also getting it done with an overall record of 13-5, but their two conference losses came at the hands of both of the conference leaders.
