(March 12, 2014) – A Baltimore, MD, man is charged with first-degree murder and use of a firearm during the commission of a felony after an apparent domestic-related homicide north of the Town of Leesburg Tuesday morning.
Around 10:40AM, March 11th, the Loudoun County Sheriffâs Office received a report of gunfire in the area of Woolsthorpe Drive and Hambrick Manor Lane. An adult female was discovered deceased inside a vehicle at the scene and an adult male was taken into custody.
The suspect, Kelvin N. Forde, 50, is now being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
The victim has been identified as 55-year-old Ruby C. Forde.
The husband and wife were reportedly en route from Maryland to visit family in Loudoun County when an altercation ensued. The suspect pulled into the area of Woolsthorpe Drive when the shooting took place. The victim lost her life at the scene.
