Loudoun County, VA (April 6, 2016) – Viva Loudoun is pleased to announce the 2016 All-Loudoun Boys Basketball Team. The 2016 All-Loudoun Boys Basketball Player of the Year is Kuony Deng of John Champe High School.
Deng, the 2016 VHSL Group 5A Boys Basketball Player of the Year posted per game averages of 19.5 points, 10.7 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 3.0 assists during his senior year; and closed out his high school basketball campaign with 1,433 career points, 786 rebounds and 228 blocks. Deng has commit to play both football and basketball for the Virginia Military Institute beginning the 2016/2017 academic school year.

About the All-Loudoun All-Star Team: For the past 6 years Viva Loudoun has selected the All-Loudoun All-Star teams to honor the top athletes across Loudoun County’s 15 public schools for each sport. The teams are comprised from the collective of Loudoun athletes from the following VHSL classifications: 3A East Conference 28; 4A West Conferences 21A, 21B, and 22; and 5A North Conference 14.
