A crowd estimated at more than 4,000 had the opportunity to visit with representatives of colleges and universities as well as service academies and LCPS post-secondary programs. This year there were 172 schools from around the country represented at the College Fair.
More than 200 colleges, universities, trade schools and military academy representatives were present. Virginia schools, including the University of Virginia, Virginia Tech, William and Mary, the University of Mary Washington and more, provided a wealth of information about admissions and programs.
For the first time, students were able to register in advance and receive a code that allowed them to provide their information to admissions representatives by a scanner rather than by completing multiple cards by hand.
